For 40 years, both China and United States benefit from the trade, the manufacturing, but only one of us use that wells to build. This isn't China's fault. This is yours. You let this happen. And the trade war by the Trump administration lays bare everything that's happened since and how badly we are getting ripped off. When you look at the creators that you've seen on TikTok and on other platforms that are coming from Chinese manufacturing facilities, they're telling you. How much of a markup that exists between what it costs to manufacture a product and what we actually buy it for.

What's been exposed over the last couple of days is the wholesale theft that's happening in broad daylight, thanks to Republican and to a lesser degree Democrat.

Now, I know some of you're gonna say that we already know all of this. We already know about all of the ridiculous markups that have been happening. That's all old news. Is it though? Did we really understand the scale of highway robbery that we were subject to over the last 40 years? I would wager that many people probably knew that these goods were being made cheaply overseas, but to the degree of how much. Price gouging was happening was probably beyond the grasp of a lot of average citizens.

So let's understand what's happening. From Reagan going forward and accelerated through nafta. We've had a four to five decade hollowing out of the middle class. All of those jobs have been shipped off to China, and China has reinvested all of the revenue that they've gained from American [00:05:00] manufacturing being offshore into their society. That's actually what's been done to. Modernize their facilities, provide for healthcare, provide for a lot of subsidies that allow for their population to do relatively well over the last 40 years and what's happened with the profits that American corporations and CEOs have. Gained in that 40 to 50 year period.

Those American organizations and corporations have reinvested in themselves. They haven't reinvested in terms of taxes, they haven't reinvested in terms of infrastructure. They've reinvested into the bottom lines and the bank accounts of the a billionaire and millionaire CEOs. That's what's happened when you look at the widening wage gap.

And now thanks to Trump's Ill-advised, trade war, all of that is being exposed. We're finally getting to see in plain terms how much we've been exploited over the last four to five decades. Now, maybe it's finally time that the billionaires and millionaires get their reckoning.
