Tim Walz: We're here today because an unspeakable tragedy has unfolded in Minnesota. My good friend and colleague, speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark, were shot and killed early this morning in what appears to be a politically motivated assassination. Our state lost a great leader, and I lost a dearest of friends.

Speaker Hortman was someone who served the people of Minnesota with grace, compassion, humor, and a sense of service. She was a formidable public servant. A fixture and a giant in Minnesota. My prayers also go out to state Senator John Hoffman and his wife Avett, who are each shot multiple times. The Hoffmans are out of surgery at this time in receiving care, and we are cautiously optim optimistic.

They will survive This assassination attempt. This was an act of targeted political violence.

We could have all predicted that this was gonna happen. After all, this is a regime that has enabled massed, unidentified people to roam the streets and kidnap people in broad daylight and shoved them into vans and other vehicles, never to be seen or heard from again.

And when you think about what happened in the Minnesota shooting incident, what did we see? We we saw somebody impersonating a police officer and using the psychological size of the badge and the uniform as a way to get access and commit carnage. And what makes this even worse is that the administration for months.

So when you look at what happened in Minnesota. And the instance of this targeted assassination by a Trump supporting. White Christian nationalist. The blood on this incident falls directly on the hands of the Trump regime, and you've already seen the efforts of the regime and regime mouthpieces to make the case that this was some sort of Democrat.

That is what the shooter believed in, and the regime mouthpiece would have. You believe that this was somebody that was a Democrat that went out shooting Democrats. And we know historically that when it comes to these sorts of crimes. It's more often than not committed by Republican allies.

This is not new. After all, when we think about what the administration has regularly been doing, they've been calling the press, the enemy of the state. They've been calling the people, the enemy of the regime. They've been calling Democrats, demons, and.

Using their allies that are in white nationalist groups embedded within police forces to turn their sights onto peaceful protestors in order to agitate some sort of violent response. there's been a pattern of behavior from his first administration where Trump has been signaling any and every domestic terrorist organization in the US to exact the retribution that he feels is necessary.

We saw it in Charlottesville and we saw it across his entire first term, and then we saw it in his campaign where various Republicans. Were motivated to take matters into their own hands and exact whatever sort of retribution they felt was necessary. His two quote unquote assassination attempts were committed by Republicans, and this particular incident in Minnesota was also committed by a Trump supporting Republican .

The fact of the matter is that the Republican party and MAGA in particular, is the party of hate. They are the party of retribution and they're a party of white supremacy, and they are showing their lack of impulse control over and over again. And this is all supported and emboldened by the actions and the words of the regime itself and the regime proxies.

Let's keep in mind that. Red states all across the country have mobilized National Guard troops in the expectation that there is gonna be violence when we've actually seen violence occur. It's been a result of escalation by police forces and National Guard troops and militarized police forces across the country.

They see zero issues with killing their fellow citizens. And this is the same group that has been screaming for a civil war for the better part of the last 10 years. But again and again, what happens? What happens is that Democrats and liberals and independents show extreme restraint. While we see over and over again, the Republican party and MAGA in general, unable to control their impulses.

Ultimately what you have to think about is when you see all of this happening, these are the hallmarks of a failing ideology. They can't win in the arena of ideas, so they have to resort to violence, and that's why you see this happening over and over again. Pardoned all of the J six traitors and insurrectionists because they need their support in the streets to create chaos and to help them build the narrative that the left wing and anyone that is non MAGA is prone to violence.

When we think about this, Donald Trump often says that Democrats are the enemy within. The reality of it is, is that it's the Republican party and MAGA in particular, that are actively [00:12:00] behaving like enemies to the republic. After all, would anybody who considers themselves? A patriot and a supporter of America really need a military per parade. On his birthday to to supposedly show their force. And how did that military parade work out?

Parade and the level of low energy that was there. The regime likes to say there were 250,000 people there. They must have been dressed up as empty seats because the estimates that have been out there indicate anywhere from 10 to 20,000 people showed up at this parade. Whereas across the country, you had 10, 11, 12 million people combined protesting this regime and the fact that you have that contrast.

They wanted his older brother, and when his older brother backed out, it obviously fell to Trump. And in terms of how Taco Don did during his business career, he would've been better off taking all of the money that he was gifted by his dad and putting it in the bank. He would've actually had more net worth and wealth built up by doing nothing than the stuff that he tried to do.

He's been known as somebody who is incontinent and in a diaper for the better part of the last 10 years. Now, there is rumors coming out that he recently had to be catheterized which explains why he's never standing or standing very infrequently. We've seen his mental decline on several occasions.

We've seen him fall down the stairs and. Over and over again. We've seen these signals, but nobody really talks about it from the press perspective. They're too busy re legislating what happened in the previous administration , and what's even more demoralizing from a Trump perspective.

Is that it's been clear that his wife wants nothing to do with him for years.

At the end of the day, what we are looking at. Is a regime that is falling apart. This is a regime that wanted to do a shock and awe effort to try to bring forward the wet dreams of the Heritage Foundation and all of the things that the white Christian nationalist crowd wanted to bring forward.

They really haven't had much success in doing any of it. They've created a lot of chaos. They've created a scenario or a situation where we are extremely exposed to foreign threats. They've set the world on fire through their incompetence and inaction, but have they really made progress in the vision that they wanted to enact when they took over?

We need to continue to draw the contrast between our peaceful protests and the unhinged reactions that we're getting from the regime and the regime puppets that are out in the field who are trying to run people over, who are trying to assassinate as many people as possible, who are grasping at straws to try to blame everything on the protestors as being paid agitators or whatever stories that they come up with.

This has been a clown show of failure. He's been failing in the courts. He's been failing in the states. He's been failing to incite the people protesting into violence.

He's tried anything and everything that he could possibly try, and he is been failing. There's a reason why the phrase Taco Don has gained prominence. This is a guy who fails at everything that he does. He'll talk a big game, and then eventually he chickens out. He chickened out on tariffs. He chickened out on the trade war. He's chickened out on arresting protesters. He's chickened out on any number of things. And now it looks like he's even chickening out on his immigration policy.

There is no question that when this is all said and done, there should be a de magnification of this country that parallels what happens in the post World War II era. Germany. Germany had to go through a deification, pos process to get everybody on the same page. The US needs to be doing something very similar when this regime is out of power. The fact of the matter is that if there is nothing short of Nuremberg style trials, when this administration leaves, it is gonna be a failure of justice that has been carried out.

When we're talking about the evils of this regime, there are a lot of targets that are worthy of scrutiny, any discussion of that evil obviously starts with the person at the top of the food chain, Donald Trump. the president himself, who is one of the most vile detestable creatures who has set forth on this planet. In its history, the only thing that he's missing is the death toll, but based on his policies, he is going to be single handedly responsible for the deaths of millions.

And that's just the start. We don't even know what the death toll is gonna look like by the end of his regime. Who knows how many wars and conflicts he's gonna get us into. He's already botched the Middle East and that is flaring up and he has tried whatever he can to get a deal and he's unable to when it comes to Russia and Ukraine.

Remember, this is the person who ran on the platform of being the peace candidate, the anti-war candidate, and what do we see? We see everything in the world that is on fire and that is gonna sit directly at his feet, thanks to his incompetence and his inability to be a serious candidate.

So let's not forget. That this person is already walking in with a death toll under his belt.

But the question needs to be asked, who is really pulling the strings?

His grandfather fled from Belarus and came to the US with very little to his name, not knowing the language, and he built himself a life here. So you have to wonder what happened in your life to take you from being somebody who fled the Holocaust to a person that is actively shutting the doors on other families and generations of families that are trying to escape their hell scapes in their countries to come to the us.

And when you think about that question, you have Steven Miller. So here's the thing that's interesting about Steven Miller. He's always apparently been this way. Take a listen to what he said back in high school

Now, clearly this is somebody who has been so insulated that he's never had to face the consequences of. His words because if he was actually in a real world environment, he would likely be eating steak through a straw, but clearly he never had to deal with those consequences.

So he feels con constantly emboldened to continue that line of conversation. That should have been a conversation that began and ended in high school with him never being able to utter another phrase like that in polite society. Clearly that didn't happen.

And in fact, when we think about how we should be treating Nazis, punch a Nazi. Day should be every day, and there are plenty of targets within this regime and supporting this regime that deserve that treatment. Now, what happens when you have a malignant evil person like Stephen Miller groomed under a neo-Nazi and given the reigns of power?

For all intents and purposes, Stephen Miller is now one of the key masterminds in where the Republican Party is and where it is going to be in the future. When I talk about the deification of the US that needs to happen when all of this is said and done. the discussion of evil billionaires needs to start with Mark Zuckerberg because were it not for Zuckerberg and his enabling of Cambridge Analytica, Trump would've never gotten elected in the first place.

Now as an outgrowth of that effort. Russia was able to continue the social engineering process of manipulating elections and influencing voting through the use of disinformation and misinformation.

Zuckerberg immediately flipped. The script and went from somebody who was supposedly playing the role of a good guy, looking for the welfare of the greater public to somebody that is all the more eager to lick the boots of the orange fascist. So when we think about evil billionaires in and around the orbit of the Trump.

Regime. Mark Zuckerberg is at the top of the list, but he is not alone.

When you think about the different donors, the billionaire donors that have propped up this regime, this provides a target rich environment for us to operate in when it comes to crippling them in terms of their financial interests.

one of the first people that we need to look at is Steve Schwartzman. He is the CEO of Blackstone and he has done one of the bigger about faces that we've seen amongst the billionaire class, where in 2022 he was arguing for new leadership in the Republican party and then all of a sudden he flipped and continued his support of the Trump regime. So when you look at people like Schwartzman, he is somebody that.

We should be identifying as a clear and present danger to the republic. There is no secret to instances where I've said that every billionaire is evil and they need to be stripped of all of their wealth and resources and be reduced to nothing. He is high on the list of people that need that treatment, but Schwarzman isn't alone.

As of now, we know that she has donated at least 90 million to help Trump get reelected and she is operating in the background, continuing to fund and finance the different initiatives that Trump is pushing forward.

Not to be outdone. We need to consider some of the other lesser known billionaires who are propping up this regime. You have Bill Ackman, who is a key figure within the administration and in administration circles. He is has a reported net worth of $9 billion, and he is a vocal supporter of Trump on the disinformation swamp that is currently run by Elon Musk and often comes to the aid of Trump.

in addition to Achman one of the folks that definitely need to be on the radar as far as key funders of this Nazi regime are Dick and Elizabeth Uline. You might not be familiar with the Uline, but they are consistent and regular funders of Republican causes all across the country, and they've been massive supporters of the Trump regime.

They were initially supporting Ron DeSantis, and when DeSantis flamed out, they threw their full weight behind Trump. Now, what's interesting about the U lines is that when you look at their. Holdings, they run one of the most despised businesses in the Midwest. Now they have an international footprint and they have continued to grow.

But it's not surprising considering their support for some of the most toxic Republicans in the country, that they have a hard time finding people to work in their organizations. When you think about a cult-like employee landscape, the U lines definitely run. What can be called as a cult within their enterprise.

it is not surprising to learn that he absolutely loves the Trump regime.

while we're talking about billionaires that are propping up this regime, we can't ignore the influence of the Waltons who are heirs to the Sam's Club and Walmart, fortune. This entire family, for the most part has contributed heavily to the Republican cause and especially the Trump campaign.

And what's interesting is that their organization and their business operations are one of the biggest reasons why. The middle class has been wiped out over the last 40 years. Their business model relies on getting mom and pop stores shut down so that their big box retailers can price gouge in the marketplace.

Before we get into the major players within the Trump regime, in terms of evil billionaires that are in their orbit, we cannot forget the role of Jeff Bezos. Jeff Bezos is another example of a billionaire parasite who has never paid taxes on anything, and he has run an operation that is very similar to the Waltons in that they exist solely to wipe out the middle class and.

And Bezos has known to have been on the record saying every employee should be terrified when they walk into the office and wondering if they're gonna get fired today. But here's where it gets interesting. All of these people that I named aren't even the worst examples of billionaires within the Trump orbit.
