Episode 52

Why Democrats Must Walk Out

Summary:

Democrats are presented with a unique opportunity to contrast their vision against Donald Trump's administration. Dr. Jim suggests that Democrats walk out of the State of the Union Address and focus on connecting with Americans who have been impacted by the incompetence of the Trump administration. Emphasis is placed on connecting policy impacts to Americans' daily lives by sharing personal stories of those affected by Trump's policies and Elon Musk's layoffs. The dialogue highlights the challenges Democrats face in winning back middle America and addressing the rise of a perceived 'Christo-fascist' threat from within the Republican Party.

Where all eyes are on the president To present a clear and compelling contrast of visions that connects the dots between policy and the American people. That is what I'm going to be paying attention to during the State of the Union Address. Democrats have a great opportunity to break away from the norms of their behavior.

As soon as Trump takes the podium, they should all rise, turn their backs, and walk out. That is going to be the gut punch that sends him off the rails, and exposes him for the thin skinned tyrant that he is, and it's going to take him off of his feet. And after doing that, what should Democrats be doing?

Democrats should assemble at the steps of the Capitol. And make sure they are surrounded by all the media, all the press, and as many people who have been laid off. By the unelected bureaucrat and ketamine addict, Elon Musk, and share their stories with the American public. That is what's missing in all of these antics that's happening with the Trump administration.

This is the opportunity for Democrats to actually do something that's going to connect with every voter in the country, and even Trump voters. Because right now What's happening is that Republicans and Trump voters in particular are thinking about the nameless, faceless agency employees that are getting laid off.

They're not seeing their friends, their neighbors, their relatives get utterly wiped out to benefit the billionaire class and set the stage for another trillion dollar giveaway to the true parasites of American society. And that is the millionaire and the billionaire class. Democrats have an opportunity.

Where the Democratic Party has been losing middle America because they've allowed The Republicans to paint the party as a collection of wingnuts when the reality of it is that if you're talking about the real party of wingnuts, that is the Republican Party, and that's taking it easy on them. What we're really facing is a Christo fascist dictatorship that is on the rise, and Democrats need to call that out in clear terms.
